How I work

Recording is where everything else starts. I set up each session around the music: what is being recorded, how it should sound and how the performers work best. Whether you are tracking one vocal or a whole band, the goal is the same: a performance that feels right, captured cleanly enough to take anywhere.

The room records up to 16 channels at the same time through Midas PRO preamps, so a band can play together, live, with a complete multitrack of the acoustic kit. If you prefer to build a song part by part, we overdub one instrument at a time instead.

As a guitarist and producer, I know what a good take sounds like and when to try another one. I help with sounds, tuning, timing and headphone mixes, so you can focus on playing.

What we record

  • VocalsLead and backing vocals, recorded with the microphone and placement chosen for your voice.
  • GuitarsElectric and acoustic guitars, with the sound shaped for the song during the session.
  • BassBass guitar and other low-end parts, tight with the rest of the band.
  • Acoustic drumsFull multitrack drum recording, with microphones placed for the kit and the song.
  • Full bandThe whole band tracking together on up to 16 channels at once.
  • OverdubsOne part at a time, built up from a guide track or a demo.

How it works

  1. Message me on WhatsApp with what you want to record, how many musicians and any references.

  2. We plan the session: instruments, setup, timing and what you take home.

  3. We record. You leave with the multitracks, or we carry on with editing, mixing and mastering.

Questions

Can you record a full band at the same time?

Yes. The studio records up to 16 channels at once, including a full multitrack of acoustic drums, so a band can track together live.

Can we record one instrument at a time instead?

Yes. Overdubbing part by part works just as well, and is often the better way to build a song from a demo.

Where is the studio?

In Wadi Chahrour el-Soufla, Baabda, near Beirut, Lebanon. Directions are shared when you book.

What do I take home after the session?

The multitrack recordings of your session, ready to open in any studio. I can also handle the edit, mix and master.

How much does a recording session cost?

It depends on the project, the number of musicians and the time it needs. Send the details on WhatsApp and I will reply with a quote.
